DESIGN
VICTOR TARNOY ARCHITECT is committed to creating healthy building environments that are constructible, economically feasible, sustainable and resilient. Our interest in classical detailing and more ancient design philosophies influences every project. We expand our client’s vision of what can be.
The Design phase is divided into stages… the preliminary design stage to a final design stage… where all the client’s needs, zoning requirements, constructibility and budgets are satisfied. We offer a full range of additional services during the design phase, including Committee of Adjustment, Site Plan Agreements and Re-Zoning. We consider architect fees to be part of the construction budget.
CONSTRUCTION
The final design is specific to our client’s needs, budgets, the site context and the requirements of the Authorities that have Jurisdiction. The next step is Construction Documents. These show all the information needed for the many permits required to construct a building/renovation and every detail necessary for the trades to construct the project. We work closely with our Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and our network of building specialists in the field. It is during this time that we turn vision into reality into vision.
DESIGN/BUILD
Our level of detailing, the sensitive nature of heritage work and our proposed heating/cooling systems set our projects apart. We work closely with our clients to demonstrate the viability and advantages of our design decisions, decisions that respect not only the desires of the client, but the integrity of the environment as well. VICTOR TARNOY ARCHITECT has established a network of building industry specialists who offer a full range of construction services to our clients, including craftspeople expert in masonry and carpentry, radiant heat, plumbing, electrical and roofing. We offer full Project and Construction Management for any size project. This has proven to be a highly successful way to bring the vision we share with our clients into reality at the right price.
